This is a collection of my sellable and commissioned mosaic works — pieces that combine bold colour, thoughtful design, and personal storytelling. Each one reflects my approach to mosaic: functional, expressive, and made to bring energy and meaning to everyday spaces. If you're interested in bespoke mosaic work, I'd love to hear from you and explore how we can bring your project to life. Please get in touch to start the conversation.

The Jolly Brewer

I was commissioned by The Jolly Brewer in Lincoln to create a 6m x 60in mosaic for the building’s front signage — my largest work to date. The lettering was custom-designed to fit the brief, and the mosaic was constructed in sections on mesh.

With invaluable help from my husband, who assisted with tile cutting and handling the heavy panels, each section was prepared for on-site installation. The final piece was mounted and installed by the builders.

Sunflowers Abstract Mosaic

This vibrant mosaic celebrates the enduring joy of sunflowers through colour, texture, and form. Crafted from glazed tiles at varying heights, the piece invites tactile and visual exploration, revealing shifting depth and shadow as the light changes throughout the day.

Inspired by the optimistic palette of the 1960s, it blends warm golds, rich oranges, and earthy tones to radiate energy and vitality. Rather than a literal depiction, the abstract composition captures the essence of sunflowers — their movement, spirit, and sun-soaked exuberance.

The varied tile heights transform the mosaic into a sculptural experience. Each surface catches the light differently, creating an ever-changing interplay of texture and tone that rewards repeated viewing.

Created as a gift for someone who adores sunflowers, this piece is infused with joy, intention, and craft. It’s a warm and uplifting presence — a mosaic that brings vintage charm, playfulness, and a sense of life to any space.

Doorstep Mosaic

This doorstep mosaic is a working example of my approach. An abstract pattern of my own design, it combines zesty orange and lime green, offset by black — a bold, carefully considered palette that brings the space to life.

The piece reflects how I work with mosaic: thoughtful colour choices, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how pattern and surface interact. It’s functional art that enhances its environment — in this case, by adding warmth and character to an entrance.

Although I created this piece for my own home, it’s built on the same principles I bring to every commission. Whether you’re adding interest to a garden path, a feature wall, or a doorway, I’ll work with you to develop a design that fits your space and vision.

Abstract Circular Mosaic: Chameleon

This abstract circular mosaic is inspired by the chameleon — a creature celebrated for its extraordinary ability to transform and adapt. Through layered colour and organic form, the piece explores the chameleon’s rich symbolism: resilience, positive change, and the power to navigate shifting environments with quiet strength.

The composition embraces the chameleon’s vibrant palette — with green as a dominant feature (my favourite colour) — alongside blues, whites, and creams. Its essence is expressed through abstract shapes and fluid patterning, capturing the spirit of transformation rather than direct likeness. Individual tiles come together to form a cohesive whole, echoing the chameleon’s seamless integration with its surroundings.

The circular form reinforces ideas of wholeness and cyclical renewal, inviting a contemplative, meditative response from the viewer. This mosaic celebrates adaptability not as compromise, but as a spiritual practice: the art of changing while remaining true to oneself.

A Mosaic of Healing

This stitched teddy bear holds my heart.

When I discovered Refuse to Conform and Charlie's vision, I found kindred spirits. Working in the fashion industry myself, I recognised something rare and powerful—a brand dedicated to healing mental health through authentic storytelling. I was honoured to model some of Charlie's pieces in a fashion shoot, and through our collaboration, I discovered we aligned on what truly matters: using our platforms to support people's mental health journeys while honouring our own.

This teddy mosaic represents something deeply universal: the vulnerabilities we all carry, both the physical and psychological scars that shape us. For so long, I wore masks to hide my scars. But this little mosaic soul reminds me that our repairs don't make us broken—they make us whole. Each stitch tells a story of survival and choosing to put ourselves back together with love.

Like this teddy, we're all fragments finding our way back to wholeness. The cracks don't diminish us; they let the light shine through. In the broken pieces, we find ourselves. And in finding ourselves, we refuse to conform.
